Psychotherapy can help with a range of challenging emotional and personal issues. Some clients seek support to reflect on and challenge their thoughts and behaviour patterns, while others want to simply be listened to. For some, there isn't always an apparent reason for seeking therapy. I will support you in identifying and addressing your challenges.
I have experience supporting clients with a wide range of different presentations, including those seeking depression counselling, which may involve feelings of overwhelm, hopelessness, or low self-esteem. You might find it helpful in identifying what kind of support you are seeking.
Some areas I have worked with:
- Anxiety and anxiety support
- Feelings of overwhelm
- Depression and feelings of hopelessness
- Low self-esteem
- Relational challenges
- Societal pressures
- ADHD overwhelm
- Grief and Loss
- Health-related issues
- Work-related issues
- Faith and Spirituality
- The impact of Abuse and Trauma
- Discrimination
- Culture, identity, belonging, and oppression
I approach my practice from an anti-oppressive position, recognising structural and systemic inequalities, while considering socio-political factors that affect mental health, both inside and outside of the therapy room.
I work within diversity across age, race, background, faith, gender, sexuality, and relationship styles.
